The Rayleigh Club Seniors Section

At reception

Welcome to The Rayleigh Club Seniors Section website
The Rayleigh Club Senior Section aims to provide regular competitive golf for South Course Members aged 55 and over. Admission is open to all ability levels and members are encouraged to support Senior and Club events and functions whenever possible.
The Section runs alongside the Men’s and Ladies Sections and is an integral part of the main club. It has its own Captain and Committee and receives support, encouragement and assistance from the club management. It aims to provide a diverse and supportive integration into golfing and the associated social life of the club regardless of ability.
The Section plays Monday and Wednesday, teeing off between 07.15 and 9.00.
Groups are selected in 3 balls to play in one of many competitive formats. A small charge is levied on each player and awarded as prize money. Competitions are organized into team games and Individual Stableford, Medal and Bogey Pars.
Friendly matches against Senior Sections from selected Essex Clubs are also organized to provide an opportunity for members to experience other courses. Additionally, the Section actively supports chosen charities through special events and donations.
If you are a member of The Rayleigh Club (South Course), 55 or over, and enjoy competitive golf you will find a warm and friendly welcome.
